Clubman of the Year 2011
On Monday 4th July the club held its 2011 AGM at the Foley Arms PH in Claygate with 30 + of its members in attendance including managers and parents and supporters of the club.
As part of the business of bringing the 2010/11 season to a close the committee introduced the award of Clubman of the Year to recognise an individual who has made a recognisable difference during the year.
Neal Williams was selected from amongst a large group of worthy candidates for his service to the club throughout the season. However his organisation, great communication skills and persistence in keeping a group of players going through difficult times shines through and further to add, his consistent attendance and contribution to every club event and initiative saw Neal take the award this year. (Neal was also awarded the FA Level 1 Coaching Award in February 2011)
As for the remaining business dealt with at the AGM the committee from 2010/11 was re-elected for another year plus the addition of some key people to help assist with the growth and success of the club.
