Latest Match Report — 22/04/12
Sadly, this weeks match against local rivals Oxshott Royals was cancelled due to the fact that the pich was clearly waterlogged by all the heavy rain that has been falling in the area for the past week.
This means that if this match can not be rearranged thenthe lads will not be able to play together again as a team for Claygate Royals. It has been a great experience for all of the lads, some of whom have been playing for me and Claygate since they were Under 9's.
The lads have grown together as a team and as friends and next week will be a sad yet rewarding day for them all. I would personally like to thank them all for being part of a great team and one that has always played to their best and represented the club in the best way possible. Indeed, the tour to Holland, where they finished third was a huge experience for everyone involved (when in the Under14's) and one that will remain in the memory for many years to come.
Thank you lads for being a major part of my life and the life of Claygate Royals FC. It was a pleasure to be part of your young lives and I wish you all the very best of luck for the future in whatever you all go onto do in your lives. I am sure you will have the greatest of success.
